as a reminder

  1. A haiku, if I'm not mistaken?

  2. Got way too ahead of myself. You've schooled me on the art of a Senryu.

    1. Oh, it takes years to get it right. I'm still working on it, as a matter of fact. I adore senryu more, as it is always about the human life, the human condition. This is more of a play on words, how a flower of forget me nots die hopelessly and the receiver of those flowers is constantly reminded of why they were given in the first place. The flower itself was originally used in memorials and for remembrance. Funny how that works out, huh?
